Students will spend the week discovering the connections between the garden and the kitchen. Each day students will engage in a variety of themes ranging from herbs to colors of the garden to pollinators and create everything from a bug hotel to herbal Play- doh. Students will gather produce from the garden each day and learn to work as a team to transform it into lunch. Pizza with fresh herbs, fresh mint tea, lettuce wraps, and a plant parts salad are just a snapshot of all that will be created and enjoyed!

EQUIPMENT: Players should have a water bottle, comfortable shoes and shorts.
PARKING: Please honor the No Parking Signs located on the school campus. Thank you for respecting our campus and helping to make this a safe and enjoyable season.
WEATHER: If there is any question about weather, expect a call/email from your coach. Each event will be called based on the conditions one hour prior to scheduled starting time. Efforts will be made to reschedule all canceled events. LMYA Director will notify all coaches. It will be the coach’s responsibility to notify all players.
